This is the Super Three Hundred; our interpretation of the classic 300 watt Ampeg SVT behemoth bass amplifier.

Controls include: Level, Treble, Middle, Bass, and Gain.  The 5-position Mid Freq rotary switch allows you to set one of 5 center frequencies for the Middle EQ: 220, 440, 880, 1800, or 3500 Hz.  The Ultra Low and High switches behave as they do on the amp:   Ultra Low adds a mid notch filter between 500-600Hz to scoop the mids and Ultra High adds a treble bypass capacitor across the gain pot (note just like on real amps, the Ultra High is most effective at lower gain settings to help brighten the signal).  The Solo footswitch adds a slight volume boost.  It cuts a bit of bass below 30 Hz and boosts the highs around 10kHz. you can think of this almost as the bright input on the amp.

There is also a balanced output 1/4" TRS jack to give you the option of sending a direct signal straight to the board or your audio interface for recording.  The balanced output is always on, even when the pedal is in bypass mode.

JULY 2024 UPDATE We updated the Super 300 with an internal bipolar power supply!  This means that the pedal now takes a 9V DC power supply ONLY and generates a -9V power rail to run the pedal at the equivalent of an 18V supply. This gives more headroom and dynamic range as well as operating the circuit on positive and negative rails along with a 4-layer PCB to give low noise!  Because of this the current requirements are slightly higher for the newer pedals - recommended 9V and 150mA minimum.  There is over voltage protection so if more than 10V is supplied to the pedal it will not turn on to project the charge pump circuitry.

Each pedal uses a professionally assembled PCB and is proudly assembled by hand in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
